QUILT FOR RELAY FOR LIFE RAFFLE

Sheila Carnder made this quilt that is displayed at Kirby Medical Center in hopes to draw in donations for next month’s Relay for Life. The event helps raise money for people with cancer and Carnder says donating her time is a way she can give back. Sheila stated “It’s rewarding to me to know this is something people have been so interested in. That they’re willing to participate, which is wonderful.”
Raffle tickets are $2.00 and can be purchased at the Kirby Medical Center Welcome Desk. Whoever gets their name drawn at the June 1st Relay for Life Event in Monticello will win the quilt.
