Kirby Medical Center's Occupational Therapy offers the expertise and personal services of a licensed occupational therapist and an occupational therapist assistant. Our team works with both children and adults and offers a great deal of experience to help improve a patient’s condition using a wide variety of approved and effective treatments. The occupational therapist works with all patient types to address daily activities such as getting dressed, bathing and cooking. The goal of occupational therapy is to increase safety and independence – in essence - helping you get back to the business of everyday quality living.
Kirby’s occupational therapy team begins by providing each patient with a comprehensive evaluation, followed by education regarding the diagnosis, recovery and injury prevention.
