In the last 10 years, the Auxiliary has donated over $230,000 to The Kirby
Foundation. Past support has helped fund a new ambulance, the Wellness
Trail, a 3D Mammography machine and much, much more.
During their annual meeting on July 9th, the Auxiliary made a $22,000 donation to support the purchase of a new
power cot for the Ambulance Service. Their generous contribution also
provided funding for our new Therapy Garden.
In addition, the AAUXILIARY AWARDED $50,500 in scholarships at the annual
meeting to 18 students. The recipients of these Thomas Dixon Memorial
Scholarship awards will be able to finance educational endeavors that
will allow them to make meaningful contributions within our community-
and even right here at Kirby.
We are very grateful for the Auxiliary’s financial support, and for
the many other ways they impact healthcare in our community. Members spend
countless hours volunteering their time in the Gift Shop, assisting patients
at the Welcome Desk and organization local charitable events.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to every Auxiliary member on behalf of everyone
at Kirby for all you do.
