Get to know Felix Davis, Full Time Paramedic
Why Felix choose to work in health care:
"I didn't really choose health care kind of fell into it, found
it by accident is the way I phrase it. I originally was planning on becoming
a firefighter but a lot of the fire programs require BLS certification
so I went and got the BLS certification. Didn't quite like the skills
that EMT-B can do so I went and got my EMT P paramedic licenses."
What he finds the best thing about his job to be:
"The way paramedics are going we are a rare breed not many of us in
this career field."

they have been transferred from prehospital to in hospital care."
He is married to Gina and they have two children together, 10 year old
Felix lll ( nickname tre meaning the third) and 2 year old Nyla.
Outside of work, Felix enjoys playing basketball, riding motorcycles, play
station, and weight lifting.
One of the best moments of Felix's career:
"I can't say I have one moment but when I'm confronted about
how I helped a patient, rather it's the patient directly or family
of patient and they explain to me that my medical treatment made a difference
in the outcome of their health status it gives you a since of pride in
the work we do."
Felix's typical work day:
His typical work day consists of rig check, catching up with the day crew,
checking in with the Emergency room, and any 911 call anywhere between.
Four words to describe Felix:
Chill, funny, competitive, forgetful. He finds forgetfulness a bit of blessing
and curse. It's a blessing in a since that it helps him move on from
tough difficult ambulance calls and it is a curse because he usually forget
things that his family told him to do.
Something he is excited about in 2019:
He is finishing the basement in his house and is excited to furnish it!
