CrossFit KMC

We broke new ground when CrossFit KMC opened in June of 2016, as it was the first CrossFit affiliate located on a hospital campus. It was something new and exciting. But would it work? Fast forward and more than a year, later the answer is a resounding “yes!”

Director of Health and Wellness Services Josh Newton explains, “We have seen a great response from the community because of the service we provide and the relationships we work to develop with everyone who enters our doors.

“Our mission is to meet our members where they are and work with them to achieve whatever health goals they may have. It has really taken off through word of mouth, and people experiencing their own transformations and sharing their stories.”

CrossFit KMC started with nine classes per week and around 20 members. Now, CrossFit KMC offers 32 classes every week to 182 members. An additional 50 members participate in a variety of other offerings, including weekly rowing classes, sports camps, kids’ classes and yoga.

CrossFit KMC continues to grow, and our leadership is ready. As Josh says, “Our plans for 2018 are to continue to provide a caring and compassionate environment mixed with a fun and challenging workout that pushes people and helps them grow in their health journey.”
