Why Sport Physicals Matter

Sport physicals (also called pre-participation physical examinations) are a crucial step in keeping young athletes safe, helping identify any health concerns that might affect performance or risk of injury.

“Ensuring that our student athletes are healthy and ready to compete is a key part of our mission,” says Kirby Medical Center’s clinical team. “By offering these physicals locally and giving back to booster clubs, we’re also helping our communities thrive.”
