MONTICELLO- Kirby Auxiliary and Kirby Medical Center hosted its first O’Night
Divine Gala on November 29th, 2018 at Kirby Medical Center. This Gala consisted of a Prime Rib dinner
catered by Apple a Day Cafe, Wine Tasting, Dessert Bar, Hot Chocolate
Bar, a variety of musical entertainment, a Silent Auction, and a tour
of 25 professionally decorated Christmas trees. Approximately 100 guests
attended the Prime Rib dinner and many more participated in the Tour of
Trees. Admissions to see the trees, take the tree tours, enjoy the live
music, and visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus was free to the public.
Homemade candy canes, peppermint sticks, round peppermint candies, trees
in all sizes, wreaths, garland galore, hundreds of bows, yards and yards
of ribbon, thousands of ornaments, and over 10,000 lights were used to
decorate the trees at Kirby Medical Center this year.
Thank you to the hardworking tree decorators who spent a year of planning
to make Kirby Medical Center into a beautiful showcase: Bill Haworth,
Jeremy Herrera, Michael Darin, and Gail Winterroth. The decorating team
worked non-stop an entire weekend and more along with dozens of Kirby
Auxiliary volunteers working many hours to assist the decorating team.
Thank you to Kirby Auxiliary for your volunteer time and support for this
fundraising event. With the help of Kirby Auxiliary, O’Night Divine
was a great success and a lovely evening for many. We are very grateful
for each member that helped make Kirby Medical Center a warm and inviting
place to be.
