Monticello, IL August 31, 2018- The Kirby Medical Center Board is pleased
to announce that Mike Atwood of Monticello, has recently joined Kirby
Medical Center’s Governing Board.
Kirby Medical Center’s Governing Board consists of a group of dedicated
and professional community members committed to improving the health of
Pitt County and the surround areas. As trustees, they represent the best
interests of the hospital’s stakeholders by adopting broad policies,
approving the strategic direction of the organization, and evaluating
the hospital’s performance.
According to Steve Tenhouse, CEO of Kirby Medical Center, the Board is
very fortunate to have Mike’s professional experience. “We
are excited to have Mike join the board. He brings a great perspective
to the hospital as a president of a large employer in our communities.”
Craig Webb, Chairman of the Governing Board states “The entire Board
of Kirby is pleased Mike accepted our invitation to join us. His experience
and knowledge of the needs of Piatt County residents is invaluable to
the Kirby mission. “
Atwood serves as the president of First State Bank.
“I enjoy serving on the Board of Directors and contributing to the
mission of Kirby Medical Center,” said Atwood.
