Kirby Connections

Join us for a series of Lunch N’ Learns dedicated to those who are 60 and better. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear 1-2 presentations, as well as enjoy lunch from Apple a Day Café. Each event will take place at Kirby Medical Center in the Community Outreach Room from 11:30am - 1pm.

  • April 2, 2026 - Medicare 101 with Jessica McConnell from 360 Benefits Group
    • An easy-to-understand introduction to Medicare designed to reduce confusion and build confidence for adults navigating their options.
  • April 9, 2026 - Overview of services with Family Service and Staying Active with KMC Move
    • An overview of local resources and fitness opportunities that support emotional wellness, social connection, and physical activity.
  • April 16, 2026 - Senior Life Solutions with Taylor Ferguson and Mobile Integrated Health with Megan Somers-Mendoza
    • Focused on mental health services and innovative in-home healthcare support designed for older adults.
  • April 23, 2026 - Culinary Medicine with Sara Eades and How Singing is Good for Your Health with Dr. Alina Paul (Location: Kirby Therapy and Wellness Center basement - lunch will be provided through Culinary Medicine)
    • Learn how to prepare an hearty and healthy meal with Culinary Medicine. On the menu: Thai-inspired Quinoa Salad (dairy, egg, and gluten free; vegan)
    • Dr. Alina Paul shares a joyful approach to health through singing.
