Men’s Health: Stress Takes a Toll

If stress is left unchecked, it can lead to serious health problems and could increase your risk of heart disease, high blood pressure and stroke. It can also lead to sleep problems, weight gain and issues with memory and focus.  

Our mental health providers can give you the tools you need to help you manage your stress. Your mental health is important. Talk to your doctor if you’re experiencing any of the following symptoms: 

  • Racing thoughts 

  • Feeling overwhelmed  

  • Trouble relaxing 

  • Difficulty breathing 

  • Panic attacks 

  • Sleep trouble 

  • Loss of interest in activities you usually enjoy  

  • Withdrawing from the people you love
