From broken bones to concussions, Dan Koenigs has always turned to Kirby for medical care. When he needed to seek emergency care, he immediately went to Kirby because it was close to home, and he was confident in the ER staff’s care and abilities. “The care I received in the ER the morning of my stroke was amazing,” says Koenigs.
Despite his medical setback, Koenigs enjoys running on Kirby’s milelong trail, and he plans to complete the Kirby Derby 10K this year. “The patient care and quality of medical services have motivated me to continue working on becoming healthier, and this, in turn, has improved the quality of my life,” says Koenigs.
