Therapy & Rehab Programs

Our Therapy and Wellness Center is home to all of our therapy and wellness services, including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Cardiac Rehab, KMC Move, Nutrition and Wellness, as well as our KMC Active Gym – all in one convenient location.

• Physical Therapy – Patients of all ages are encouraged to achieve their maximum level of physical mobility and function by working with our licensed physical therapists and physical therapy assistants. Services include therapeutic exercise, soft tissue manipulation, gait training and more.
• Occupational Therapy – Our occupational therapy team works to increase safety, strength, mobility, and independence for our patients. Sessions are designed around individualized treatment plans and goals to restore the patients maximum functional potential.
• Aquatic Therapy – Opportunities for one-on-one aquatic therapy and aquatic exercise are now available thanks to the new 16’x20’ aquatic therapy pool.
• Speech Therapy – With the help of a licensed speech pathologist, patients both young and old learn to express their needs through understandable speech. Swallow-based programs are also available to assist those with swallowing disorders. Speech Therapy also addresses cognition and memory issues to assist and restore higher functioning.
• Cardiac Rehabilitation - Through a combination of physical exercise, education and counseling, our cardiac rehabilitation program aims to help patients become more physically fit, acquire a better understanding of their disease and minimize their risk for future problems.
• Pulmonary Rehabilitation -Designed for patients suffering from lung disease, our pulmonary rehabilitation program offers two supervised exercise sessions each week along with information about breathing retraining, bronchial hygiene, relaxation methods, nutrition and more.
• Women's Health Therapy Services – Kirby Medical Center’s Therapy Services Department is pleased to offer physical therapy for a variety of women’s health issues. These therapy services are designed especially for the unique health issues facing women and are intended to relieve pain and help improve quality of life.
• KMC Move – KMC Move offers a variety of exercise programs at various levels. We are certain there is a right fit for you.
• Pediatric Therapy Services are designed to help children overcome developmental, physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges in a supportive, family-centered environment. Our specialized therapists provide individualized care to help children enhance motor skills, communication, and confidence—so they can thrive at home, school, and play.
• Custom Orthotic Fabrication—personalized solutions designed to improve foot alignment, relieve pain, and restore mobility. Whether you’re managing chronic discomfort or recovering from injury, our orthotics are custom-made to help you move comfortably and confidently.
