About Liz
Elizabeth works with a diverse population of individuals, including children, adults, and elderly dealing with issues related to trauma, addictions, grief, anxiety, depression, family dynamics, women’s issues, and exploration of personal and inner growth. Elizabeth assesses each patient and develops a personalized treatment plan, with a trauma informed care lens and utilizes modalities of treatment that meet the needs of each individual. Modalities she specializes in are Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused-CBT, Mindfulness Based-CBT, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance Based Therapy, Internal Family Systems informed, and Psychodynamic Therapy. Elizabeth’s approach focuses on building therapeutic rapport and providing a safe, healing, non-judgement, and accepting environment where individuals can process and address difficult and intrusive symptoms , thoughts, emotions, and behaviors with the intention to create a healthier perspective, gain effective coping skills, and relief from issues they are seeking help for.
