2024 Fundraising Goal - $20,000

Funds will support:

• Bella Blankets for our Imaging Department - These protective coverlets are placed on our mammography machine for EVERY patient and offer improved comfort and enhanced positioning for our technologists.
• Hope Totes - Gas and food gift cards along with other comfort items are provided to cancer patients living in Piatt County.
• Comfort Station Items - Comfort care items are available to those receiving treatments in our Chemotherapy Department.
• Imaging Staff Training - Funding will allow more of our Imaging technologists to train and become certified to perform mammograms.

We’ve partnered with Caitlin Hicks Design and Lively Aesthetics again this year. Muffins and Mammos

The Kirby Imaging Department will be offering mammograms every Saturday morning in October. Making it more convenient for those who work during the week. Appointments are required and can be made by calling 217-762-1651.

Food Truck Fridays

Kirby Medical Center will be hosting a variety of food trucks on Fridays in October. These food trucks will be donating a portion of their sales back to Paint Piatt Pink.

10/4 - La Paloma 10:30am-1pm; Moon Bean Coffee 2:30-4:30pm

Rowathon and Walkathon

KMC Active’s Annual Rowathon will be October 26, 2024 at 8am. This is a 6 person team event and you can choose to do a half-marathon (21,097m) or a full-marathon row (42,195m). Event Price is $240 per team which includes a long sleeve shirt and food. *Must register by October 17th to receive a shirt. All proceeds will be donated to Paint Piatt Pink. Event will take place inside KMC Active. Participants should park in the main lot at Kirby Medical Center on the North side of Medical Center Drive. See map below. Rowathon meet up location is labeled with pink star 1.

In addition to the Rowathon, our Paint Piatt Pink Committee will be hosting a Walkathon on October 26, 2024 from 10am-12pm. A donation is suggested and can be made digitally at the event. All proceeds support Paint Piatt Pink. This event will take place along the Kirby Wellness Trail. Participants should park in the main lot at Kirby Medical Center and cross the street to meet near the East side of the Therapy & Wellness Center. See map below. Walkathon meet up location is labeled with pink star 2. Pink attire or costumes are encouraged. Food and drink will be available for purchase from Moon Bean Coffee and Sage City Market. In the case of poor weather conditions, the walkathon will be cancelled.
